Our capabilities include parts with a range of metal thickness from .002" to .060" with low tolerances and quick turnaround. Photo chemical etching, also known as photo etching and photochemical machining, is a cost-effective alternative to laser cutting and stamping when it comes to intricate features and complex designs because of its capabilities to provide lower tolerances and more precise control over part features.
Some other advantages of photo chemical etching include low-cost tooling that can be easily modified, quick prototyping, stress and burr-free parts, and unaltered metal properties.
We have grown in expertise and experience with a broad range of product applications, but the company’s original goal remains the same, to provide attentive detail to projects, excellent customer service and to meet deadline expectations. With that in mind, we developed quicker quoting and order tracking systems to reduce product cycle time. An increase in prototyping was behind the motivation in the development of our Parts Now program; a system developed to move prototype parts out the door within 24 hours.
Our tooling engineers offer assistance with material selection and design consultation on how to achieve the lowest tolerances within our capabilities. We have a large inventory of metals in stock including stainless steel, cold rolled steel, alloy 42, beryllium copper, brass, nickel silver, nickel, Kovar, copper, phosphorus bronze, and more. All metals are RoHS and DFARS compliant.
An increase of OEMs in the electronics and R/F microwave industries requesting EMI and RFI shielding components prompted us to offer an in-house matte tin, bright tin, and nickel flash-plating line used with copper, nickel-silver and stainless steel alloys to protect against corrosion and preserve solderability.
Additional plating options and secondary finishing services are also available. Our long-standing, cross-trained employees and relationships with qualified vendors help us to maintain efficient operations and excellent customer service.
